One of my favourite design teams Daniel . Emma, Adelaide based but with an international reputation, have a new BIG! collection. Producing wonderfully geometric objects, I have previously featured their work for Wallpaper Handmade + Geurlain here.
Daniel . Emma are back with a whole new BIG! collection fresh from their first exhibition, big ideas and working on a bigger scale. I can't help but see a connection with all things sweet, with names like 'pick n mix', 'tic tac' and 'cherry on the bottom', Daniel & Emma tell me more about their work.
They are beautifully finished and well resolved design pieces in a diverse range of materials. The only question is, where can we get them in the UK?

- What inspired your current collection?
- i love the names of the pieces, 'Cherry on the bottom', 'Pick n mix' and 'tic tac', brought back memories of sweets for me, was that part of your thoughts during the design process?
- These are the first large scale items that I have seen in your work, what challenges did it present?
- What was it like designing furniture pieces, chair, table and bench - are you looking at more work on this scale?
And finally, the question that I was thinking when i saw your collection....where can we get your wonderful pieces internationally?
