~ Florence Broadhurst for Kate Spade - 'On Tour'

It seems that collaboration is 'the new black' hardly a new concept but definately going strong. Kate Spade, famous in NY for handbags, shoes etc have taken inspiration from one of my favourites, Florence Broadhurst, for their Spring 2012 collection.
Florence Broadhurst is well known in Australia for her wallpaper & fabric designs with a design studio in Paddington run by Signature Prints & her work is collected by The Powerhouse Museum.
The fun part is they have designed a bus as a 'pop-up-shop' & taken their new collection on tour. The Japanese Floral print features highly in their collection for Spring 2012. It would be great to experience it in person & fun to see other designers create pop-up-shops to take it to the streets. I'm sure Florence would be proud to see her designs in NY.
